Opening of the Greens
Our Bowling Greens were declared officially open for 2023 when two of our more senior members, Ann Sildre & Fred Britton, bowled the first woods on both the East & the West greens.

Ann then made a short speech, in which she expressed her gratitude, on behalf of all of the members, for all of the hard work put in by the greenkeeping team.

CTBL Club Rinks Tournament
A team from Rooks entered this season's Rinks Tournament and progressed through the initial 'Round Robin' stage to the final. Sadly, the team from Stockton Bowling Club prove dto be too much and were the worthy winners. But a big pat on the back for the Rooks team of Jeff Ravenhall, Dennis Henderson, Alan Harrison & Ken Brown.

The Founder's Day Trophy was won by Hazel Fisher, the Ladies Singles Trophy was wonn by Dianne Minto & the Ladies Pairs Trophy was won by Barbara Tickner & June Fearn.
2023 Coronation Cup Final
The Final of this competition was held at Thornaby Bowling Club again. Although our team from United lost out to a very strong side from Middlesbrough Bowling Club, the team and their supporters enjoyed a wonderful afternoons bowling. Thank you to all who came along to support the team.
