Listed below are the competitions that Ropner Park Bowling Association provide during the bowling season.

Ropner Park Bowling Association

FUN DAYS - Open to everyone, mildly competitive but with the emphasis on having a great time bowling. Usually followed by a finger buffet and prize giving.

FRIENDLY MATCHES - all bowling association members welcome to take part

Champions Cup - Singles - 4 woods - 11 ends - played throughout the season.

Memorial Shield - Australian Pairs - 4 woods - 11 ends - played throughout the season.

ONE DAY COMPETITIONS

Jim McHugh Trophy - Singles

Secretary's Shield - Pairs

Stuart Waites Salver - Triples

Ray Ross Trophy - Singles - Saturday team members only

Richardson Cup - Team event - Wednesday v. Thursday evening teams, usually followed by Pie & Peas.

KNOCKOUT COMPETITIONS

Wilf Marsh Trophy - Singles - 2 wood - 15 shots up (21 shots up in the Final)

Ralph Walker Trophy - Singles - 2 wood - 21 shots up

Best of three Trophy - Singles - 2 wood - best of 3 sets, each set 11 ends

John Gill Trophy - Singles - 4 wood - 21 ends

E.B.F. Qualifier Trophy - Singles - 2 wood - 21 shots up - the winner may represent the Association in the Cleveland County Champion of Champions competition.
